Recognized locally as “Deep Blue,” the Galapagos Master stands as a 32-meter liveaboard vessel specialized in scuba diving. The vessel underwent a comprehensive interior overhaul to the highest standards in 2015. Crafted from steel, its design prioritizes stability and speed through a lower profile. Recently revitalized in early 2023, the Galapagos Master presents 7 and 10-night itineraries encompassing premier dive sites within the Galapagos.
Each liveaboard journey hosts up to 16 divers, assuring optimum safety and comfort for all passengers. Boasting eight air-conditioned cabins spread across three decks, every cabin offers a private en-suite bathroom with hot water, and spacious storage for personal belongings. For enhanced convenience and adaptability, the Galapagos Master provides cabins that can flexibly serve as either twin or double bed accommodations.
Shared spaces include a roomy indoor lounge on the mid deck, inviting guests to unwind while enjoying favorite films or reviewing underwater captures on a plasma screen television. The indoor dining space offers a delectable array of cuisine, complemented by an adjacent cocktail bar. Photography enthusiasts can fully utilize the indoor camera station, furnished with multiple charging points (US round pin plug). Extra storage compartments at the rear of the vessel guarantee sufficient room even for photography-focused charter groups.
The Galapagos Master’s upper sun deck caters to sun-seekers, providing an opportunity to bask in the Galapagos vistas while acquiring a tan. Alternatively, for those preferring shaded relaxation, the upper deck offers cushioned lounge chairs and benches in a tranquil environment.
The vessel holds an official permit issued by the Ecuadorian government and the National Institute of the Galapagos, allowing the organization of diving activities within the Galapagos region. This certification assures compliance with rigorous environmental regulations and safety protocols. Equipped with cutting-edge safety devices, including GPS, VHF radios, satellite communication, two life rafts, emergency oxygen, and an AED, passengers can embark on their journey with complete peace of mind and protection.
