Galapagos Master boat at Wolf Island

Home for the week

Teaming up with our buddies at Master Liveaboards we will be hosting on the Galapagos Master with their fantastic team of local experts for 7 fantastic days retracing Darwin's footsteps.

The BEST action

The #1 aggregation location in the world! Take it from us, this destination is simply breathtaking and teaming with life. The bio-diversity above and below the surface is sensational.

The adventure

The schedule is planned for 7 nights, full board and up to 4 dives per day. With a maximum occupancy of 16 guests.

We aim to spend 2 days in the north, visiting Darwin and Wolf island.

Included in the trip is an opportunity to dive with Marine Iguanas.

We have two land tours available, including a visit to the Tortoise’s on Santa Cruz.

What could we see?

Galapagos has two seasons which overlap during July, so when is the best time?

It depends on what you want to see and also mother nature...

Hammerheads in Galapagos

Hammerheads & other sharks

The schooling Hammerheads are more prominent Nov-June, however with global warming they have still been seen hanging around in July (as witnessed this year). Galapagos sharks are common, as are many other pelagic species.

Whaleshark Nomadic Scuba

Whalesharks & Mantas

This year Dr Simon Pierce (leading Whaleshark scientist) of the Marine Mega fauna Foundation and his team hosted the same dates as us. They experienced countless Whale sharks and one in particular, the largest male they saw at 11 meters long! Mantas love current, colder water and indeed all that yummy food it brings. That'll explain the Common sightings of mantas then (fab!).

Marine Iguana galapagos Nomadic Scuba

Marine Iguanas, oh and whales!

Endemic to the Galapagos Islands, the Marine Iguanas enter the sea, swim through the surf and feed an the algae covered rocks (while we take some photos of them too). A great year-round dive.

Galapagos Islands

The land or the moon?

We take the opportunity to step onto the volcanic islands at North Seymour. With a guide to explain it's history and inhabitants you could be forgiven for thinking you were on the moon. An awesome and interesting excursion.

humpback-whale-

Humpback Whales

To top it off, migratory Whales pass through the Galapagos at this time of year. Fins crossed and with some scuba luck, we may get a visit from these beauties. Take it from us, just hearing them sing makes for an unforgettable dive.
